Imagine it's your first night with a new roommate and they drop this warning on you: "Hey, you should know I'm kind of a sleepwalker, only instead of walking, I have nasty unconscious sex with whoever is near. Well, goodnight!"
Incredibly, that is a real thing. It's called sexsomnia, and it is totally recognized by the International Classification of Sleep Disorders.
Sexsomnia, is a condition in which a person will engage in sexual activities while asleep. This condition falls within the broad class of sleep disorders known as parasomnias. In extreme cases, sexsomnia has been alleged, and accepted, as at least a part of the cause of sexual assault, including rape.
Our first subject, James, has suffered from this for most of his adult life.
Is James just using excuses for extensive sexual excitement?
Do Sleepsomniacs shag successfully while slumbering?
Does several sleepy shaftings make subsequent sloppy seconds?
Can romping while in repose be a reprieve for rape?
Join us while we dreamily float through today’s episode The Sleepy Shagfest, and other bedtime stories...
